He is apparently some kind of real estate developer (or something along those lines) in Kuna.

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703357104575045794048725562.html

"The Idaho plan called for a "multi-million-dollar complex" for runaway children on a 40-acre lot in Kuna, Idaho, according to Eric Evans, owner of Eric Evans Construction in Meridian. Ms. Silsby told him it would have an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and dormitories for the children"

Sorry, but this "description/selling point" is WAY TOO close for comfort. I'm cedrtain that Laura Silsby got the "runaway home" idea from SOME IFB person with ALOT of familiarity/experience in operating/running a children's home similar to the one where I was a resident back in the early 80's. There are many churches in the Kuna area that support homes just like it.....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9841211.post-11034867267501302892010-02-21T16:26:42.492-08:002010-02-21T16:26:42.492-08:00Good question! Apparently the Haitian authorities are wondering the same thing, though, because they kept Silsby and her nanny to find out more about their previous trip there.Bruce Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05022449143502020665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9841211.post-84910712701569387222010-02-21T16:09:17.578-08:002010-02-21T16:09:17.578-08:00Bruce,
You're getting there, little bit by lit...Bruce,
You're getting there, little bit by little bit. I will say again, that MUCH can be uncovered by finding out how Laura Silsby came up with the original plan to open up an "orphanage" in Kuna, ID. I can't help bu wonder why no one is pursiong this part of the story?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
