A sign of recruitment problems?

Hey, Big Al, how's t'ings with da boys in Mannheim?

From Mannheim hearing to weigh dismissed gang-death charges Stars and Stripes by Steve Mraz (European edition)04/24/07:

KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — A hearing to reconsider last week’s dismissal of several charges against Spc. Bobby Morrissette has been scheduled for Thursday in Mannheim.

Army Judge James Pohl, a colonel, granted a prosecution motion to reconsider his April 19 ruling, in which he dismissed charges against Morrissette of involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, hazing, belonging to a gang and making a false official statement.

The charges stemmed from the July 2005 death of Sgt. Juwan Johnson. Johnson was beaten July 3, 2005, near Kaiserslautern during an alleged initiation into the Gangster Disciples and died from his injuries the next day.
Will the wingnuts accuse Stars and Stripes (published by the military) of not "supporting the troops" because they published this story suggesting that some of "the troops" might be mean gangbangers?

The Christian Right's idolatry of the military is pretty far from the realities.
