The tradition in Austria is to listen to the "Blue Danube Waltz" (Johann Strauss, Jr) at midnight and dance the Vienna waltz to it. You know, kissing too, but we're talking Austria, not France! This is 10 1/2 minutes of the late Herbert von Karajan conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orcestra in "The Blue Danube Waltz". Yes, Von Karajan was a repulsive character, but he was a talented conductor.
