Max Blumenthal has been taking a look at Mike Huckabee's White Supremacist Links Huffington Post 01/18/08.
Also at the Huffington Post, Cristina Page points out in What the Huck? 01/22/08 that Brother Huck doesn't just want to write his version of "God's standards" into the Constitution on abortion and gay marriage. He also wants to ban many popular forms of birth control. After all, women should be punished with pregnancy or disease if they have sex outside of "God's standards", shouldn't they? Or at least, that's how things would be in the Huck's ideal United Christian States of America.
Here's one to watch out for, from Huckabee the energizer talker by John Brummett, Arkansas News Bureau 01/20/08. Brummett basically argues, oh, the Huck's a good ole boy! You don't need to pay no 'tenchun to those weird thangs he says sometimes! Or, in other words, just ignore his overtly expressed theocratic ideas and the Christian dominionist types he's in tight with.
