Argentinian neo-Nazis busted

Hans Langsdorff: He may not have been a Nazi but some Argentine skinheads honor him as one

It's not the kind of thing you're likely to hear much about in the American news. But it was interesting to me.

Argentina enacted an anti-discrimination law in June 2008, which the Buenos Aires made use of the first time this weekend to arrest 26 people at a neo-Nazi commemoration in a cemetary, a get-together meant to honor a German captain in the Second World War, Hans Langsdorff, who committed suicide in Buenos Aires after his ship was damaged beyond repair in a clash with the British Royal Navy.

Langsdorff himself may not have even been a Nazi sympathizer. But who ever said your average neo-Nazi was excessively bright?

The articles linked below don't give many details about those arrested, other than that they were skinheads and four of them were younger than 18.
