Yeah, it's kind of corny. But it's a good folk song. It was written by Keith Carradine for a Norman Lear-backed project for the occasion of the change back to democratic government that starts next Tuesday.
Bill Moyers featured a portion of the song on his PBS Journal Friday evening. There's a related Web site that encourages citizen involvement.
I especially like the fact that one segment of the video is shot in front of Jackson Square in New Orleans.
