Jane Hamsher explains the Social Security Phaseout provision of the Obama-Republican tax deal in this PBS Newshour segment from 12/06/2010. Jane's explanation starts around 3:35 on the video. I like it that Jane uses "Catfood Commission", which Gwen Eifel apparently had never encountered before, to describe Obama's anti-Social Security Deficit Commission.
