MoDo goes into orbit over Durgās, Valkyries and the Libya War
That's Durgā (the one with the sword) fighting Mahiṣāsura the buffalo-demon
I was right. No way could she resist the story of the Fight of the Valkyries New York Times 03/22/2011. We just started a war and did so in such a way that put another nail in the already too-well-sealed coffin of Constitutional war powers for Congress.
But MoDo is focused on the story of the warrior-women rolling over President Obama and his "delicate sensibilities," the "ditherer chased by Furies" knuckling under to "the pattern set up by his Mom and Michelle."
The last three paragraphs look suspiciously like something an editor told her she had to put in to not look completely frivolous about a war less than a week old.
While MoDo nurses her gender obsessions and looks to Rush Limbaugh for analysis, Obama is talking about setting up a liberated zone for the rebels to be supported by the US-French-British "coalition" to overthrow Muammar Qaddafi. And that "we are gonna be examining all our options."
But he's still talking about transferring command of the operation to some other entity.
