If he did that, Republicans and Christian conservatives who despise him might criticize him and we can't have that!! More practically, some of our glorious generals might start leaking details on things like his assassination program that he would prefer not to have come out in an election year. "The United States takes this as seriously as if it was our own citizens, and our children, who were murdered. We're heartbroken over the loss of innocent life." Does anyone in the world seriously believe that?
