One thing the First World War produced besides millions of dead bodies was lots and lots of war propaganda.
Some of it undoubtedly displays artistic talent. And the war is far enough away in time for many of them to have kitsch value.
This is one of my favorites, a ferocious-looking Teutonic dragon representing the German and Habsburg Empires menacing five of the Entente powers (the French-British side):
