The Trump Family Business Administration's nativist drive against immigrants and Latinos

Trump used his first week in office to brand Latinos immigrants a violent danger to the national security of Americans and to rapidly escalate a diplomatic confrontation with Mexico.

When Trump and his supporters talks about "criminal aliens," it's safe to assume that that they include the "crime" of staying in the US without immigration documents - technically a misdemeanor. In other words, any Latino could be a target of accusation of being a "criminal alien."
